Lens Distortion is an abnormal rendering of lines in an image. Most commonly they may appear to be bending outward (barrel distortion) or inward (pincushion distortion).

Barrel distortion "inflates" the square,

while pincushion distortion "deflates" it.

This can reduce accuracy in Google SketchUp Photo Match command.

Pixdim Photo Lens Correction automatically corrects camera distortion based on EXIF values stored in photos, and try to  find the automatically "best possible" correction for your photos.
