• Points definition to a fraction of a pixel :

Reference Scale definition is of the upmost importance to ensure precise measuring and modeling.
Pixdim uses shape recognition algorithms to ensure scale reference definition precision to within just a few millimeters.
It is no longer required to measure reference dimensions with an extremely high precision, simply position two aluminium surveyors rules.

• Automatic Lense Distorsion Correction :

When loading photos, Pixdim reads the photo's EXIF data and extracts the camera type and model. It then automatically searches for the corresponding camera calibration file and corrects photo distorsion without any user intervention required.
No raster line or manual adjustment is necessary and lense distorsion correction is always constant.
Pixdim automatically corrects radial distorsion : Barreling, Cushioning, mixed barreling/cushioning, but also with tangentials.
